Denfert period

From the Denfert period (1951-1958) emerge the curious drawings inspired by the cracks in the white tiled walls of the Denfert-Rochereau metro station in Paris. The alternation of background and form, the tangle of walls splashed with sunlight or drowned in shadows and the spaces between these walls are at the origin of the Cristal period (1948-1958).
